Accessing the inaccessible
Visitors to M&CCE Expo were able to get up close and personal to Aspect Land & Hydrographic Surveys latest addition to its range of surveying tools.
Stephen Scott, Senior Land UAV/LiDAR Inspector, was on hand to explain the capabilities and flexibility of using drones for survey work.
An invaluable aid on technically demanding projects, the drone’s ability to produce high-res images and output data to create integrated bathymetrics comes into its own in near-shore coastal environments such as mapping inaccessible cliff areas. Other areas include asset management and asset inspection such as dock wall surveys, blade inspections for windfarms/ renewable energy companies, and flood plain mapping.
Aspect Land & Hydrographic Surveys Ltd is an established company of chartered surveyors, with over 20 years of experience utilising the latest innovations in survey equipment and technology, providing a full range of survey services throughout the UK and abroad.
