M&CCE Expo supporter ICE (Institution of Civil Engineers) has reached 2,500 Technician Members (EngTech MICE), a landmark achievement for its members and for the Institution.
Liam Roche is the 2,500th Technician Member. “It’s an honour, said Liam. "Achieving the qualification was a proud moment in its own right; being part of this landmark figure just makes it that extra bit special."
Steve Feeley, ICE Director of Membership Recruitment, said: “I am delighted for Liam and for all of our professionally qualified Technician Members who have gained their EngTech MICE.”
“ICE has been working closely with industry and partners over recent years to raise the profile of civil engineering technicians, their contribution to society, and the EngTech qualification. This progress highlights that EngTech MICE is now widely – and rightly – recognised as a mark of professional excellence in the built environment.”
ICE states that, whether an apprentice or an experienced technician, gaining EngTech MICE can boost your status at work, increase your earning potential and open the door to a great career.
